Home Security Systems

Protect your family & property with new security technology

Where It All Began...

Over 60 years ago, we started installing home and business security systems, and while security technologies change, our dedication to our customers and employees has not. As the area's leading residential home security provider, we continue to provide security solutions that meet your unique needs.

A professionally installed security system gives homeowners and renters a higher level of confidence they've purchased the right system for their home, apartment, or condominium, and that the system will perform as designed on a consistent basis.

We offer a full complement of security systems, starting with the latest smart technologies from Total Connect by Honeywell and DMP Virtual Keypad. As authorized Honeywell and DMP dealers, our team is trained to provide you with an intuitive, easy-to-use experience that keeps your home and family safe and secure.

Make Your Home Smarter!

There are multiple ways to increase the brainpower of your smart home with connectivity via a mobile application on your smartphone:

  • Smart Lights - turn them on/off and control the luminosity
  • Smart Thermostats - schedule desired temperature depending on time of day
  • Smart Locks - lock/unlock doors
  • Smart Garage Doors - open/close garage door
  • Smart Security - turn on/off security for the entire home or selected areas
  • Smart Cameras - view live and saved videos of areas of your home
  • Smart Window Shades & Blinds - open/close shades at varying times of the day
  • Smart Doorbells - view and talk with people at your front or back door
  • Smart Speakers - turn on/off and increase/decrease volume
  • Smart Sensors - turn on/off and monitor temperature, water, sound and other sensors

Most systems connect with Amazon Echo and Google Home.

What's Included in a Home Security System?

We can design a security solution that meets the unique needs of your family for safety, smoke, fire, and security. Systems are designed based on the following:

  • Size of your home
  • Number of doors and windows to secure
  • Indoor and outdoor areas to cover with video surveillance cameras
  • Location and number of smoke detectors
  • Location and number of carbon monoxide detectors
  • We offer wired and wireless solutions using the latest cellular technology

Rest Easy knowing our professionals will design and install a security system for you that not only meets your current security needs, but is scalable for future upgrades and enhancements.

Thinking of a DIY (Do It Yourself) Security System?

There are several options available on the market and one of these systems may be appropriate for you if you own a smaller home, live in an apartment/condominium, and are tech-savvy. However, we've found that many of these systems are not built to the same standard and quality as professionally installed systems from companies such as Honeywell or DMP. Check out our Security Specials, give us a call in Pasco or Spokane, or contact us if you would like to compare a DiY system to a Moon Security system.

Why Should I have A Security System?

Every individual and family's situation is unique. Here are some of the advantages for having a Certified Five Diamond monitored security system:

  • Protect your home and family from intruders
  • Protect your home and family from fires and smoke
  • Protect your family from carbon monoxide poisoning
  • Peace of mind knowing you and your family can Rest Easy
  • Protect your valuables
  • Remotely monitor your home
  • Save on homeowner's insurance
  • Reduce energy consumption in your home
  • Summon medical assistance when needed
  • Protect your pets from fire (and keep your eyes on them with cameras)
  • Limit the amount of damage to your home in the event of an intrusion
  • Protect your home from flood damage

What Type of Security System Do I Need?

Depending on your home's wiring and internet bandwidth, choosing between wired, wireless, or a hybrid option is a personal decision. One of our security consultants can help you select which option will best meet your current and future security needs:

  • Many existing homes were pre-wired for security while under construction
  • Individual devices are not reliant on battery power
  • Peripheral devices that are hardwired will work with any manufacturer's control panel
  • Wired systems are more reliable than wireless due to lack of batteries (other than the panel battery)
  • No interference from nearby devices (microwave, baby monitors, etc.)
  • Individual devices are usually less expensive

  • Perimeter doors/windows
  • Interior/exterior motion sensors
  • Sensors for pool/privacy gates and outbuildings
  • Fire/poisonous gas protection
  • Environmental (flood/temp) sensors
  • Remote control with mobile app
  • Ease of installation
  • No need to drill holes/run wiring
  • Flexibility in where to install devices
  • Portability—able to remove and relocate devices
  • Potential drawback is battery strength/life and distance limitations
  • Easier to upgrade features and equipment in the future
  • Typically lower installation costs

  • Allows you to take advantage of your home's pre-wired security system and add on any wireless equipment needed

We highly recommend having your security system professionally monitored by our Central Station. Whether you are home or away, if your alarm system goes off due to an intruder, smoke, fire, CO2, motion detection, or any other monitored devices, we'll contact you first and ultimately the police and fire department if necessary. This helps to greatly reduce dispatch on false alarms and associated fines for repeat offenses.
